Just Three Weeks Away

I'm not sure if my mom is going to make it for three weeks waiting for us to come home. Chad and I are not sure if we will make it either, we are getting excited to go home for a break. I am actually looking forward to the cold weather. I know that you who are in the cold think I am crazy, but it is really hard to get into the Christmas spirit when it is still 75 degrees out. We are also looking forward to seeing everyone and getting to just hang out.

This past week has been fun with Jay and Jill being here. I think they enjoyed the time to just relax and not have to work. It seemed like we did a lot of just napping and talking and playing cards. But they seemed to enjoy it, so that is all that matters. We had lots of laughs and fun joking around with each other. Especially poking fun at Chad. (We all love him, but he just kept digging a deeper hole) Jay was my babysitter on hand for Monday's practice and Tuesday's game. By the end of the week he even had Maddie falling alseep for him, which is no easy task. I think Maddie was wondering where they went today when she got up and they were already on their plane to Minnesota.

Chad has just two weeks of classes and then one week of finals. He says that just having these two weeks of classes will make the next couple of weeks go by a lot quicker. We will be back to practice and games this week and for the next few weeks. Maddie is going to go into shock when having to go back to spending most of her afternoons and evenings at school. This week isn't too bad, I have two away games, but that just means that she will get to hang out with dad after his practices. The next two weeks are filled with games and then that last week before break is just practices since it is finals week with a game then on Friday afternoon.

We hope that you all enjoyed your Thanksgiving. We are thankful for all of you and can't wait to see most of you at Christmas.
