Merry Christmas

Well we made it to Wisconsin in 21 and a half hours. We ended up driving straight through. That wasn't our original plan, but the way things fell and happened, it ended up being the right thing to do. We left Tomball at 1:30pm on Friday and arrived in ra-ra and bumpa J's driveway at 11am. The girls did great. They slept most of the way. They would wake up when Chad and I would stop for a bathroom break or just to get out and stretch, they would see we weren't there yet and usually just fall back asleep. Saturday was spent doing a lot of nothing. We watched some movies, played with the cat and were asleep by 8pm.

After a full night's sleep and then some we headed to church in the morning and back home for the rest of the day. Maddie and Emma have been enjoying going up and down the steps and playing with the cat. Yesterday I did get out to Wal-Mart to pick up a few things. Chad has been enjoying playing some video games with his brothers and dad. We have been keeping ourselves busy and warm.

Christmas Eve is here and I finally feel like it is Christmas. Maybe it is the cold and snow or maybe it is being home and with family. Maddie got a shot at sledding this morning and thought it was the best thing ever. We got some pics and I will make sure to put them up soon. She didn't even complain about the cold.

I pray that all of you wherever you may be, some here with us, some back in Texas, some other parts of the country; have a very Merry Christmas. I will make sure to post some pics after the next few days of celebrating.

Wisconsin Here We Come

Emma likes to chew on Maddie's nuk.

Are we packed? NO

Have we cleaned up the house? NO
Are we finished with laundry? NO
Are we excited to go? YES

As you can see we are not ready to go physically, but I'm pretty sure we are all ready to get going and be with our families up north. Today is the first day of finals, so Chad was in quite the giddy mood when he got home from school yesterday. I have slowly been putting clothes out to be packed, but there is still laundry to do. I can be confident to know that we will be packed and ready to go by 11am on Friday.

This past weekend we had our Texas Christmas. Chad reffed a basketball game in the morning and I was able to get some cleaning done. I decided to go the lazy/easy route and we just had lasagne from Stouffer's. Everyone had a good time and the girls loved opening up their presents.
Side note: (Maddie story)
I had taken the presents out of the closet and they were sitting in the corner of our room behind a chair. I was getting ready in the morning and the girls were in our room. Maddie saw the presents and got all excited. So I had to explain to her that we weren't going to open them until after Uncle Phill came over and that wasn't until after her nap. This was about 10am. So we were playing and doing stuff around the house and about 15 minutes later she came up to me and said "Mama, I'm tired". She is getting too smart for her own good. She knew that if she went to bed, then she would be able to open presents.

The boys (Michael and Christian) loved their Guitar Hero, but they might have to fight Phill to be able to play it. I'm pretty sure that Phill now has carpal tunnel from Saturday night.

Sunday was the CLHS Christmas concert. We all went and the girls did great. Maddie at one point, while it was quiet, shouted "Mike" since Michael was up on stage singing. Everyone around us had a good laugh.

Getting Ready

We seem to be getting ready for lots of things:
*Texas Christmas here at our house: Wilkes, Odingas, Karner, and others that we call our Texas family together to celebrate Christmas.
*Chad is getting ready for finals (I also think he is getting ready to not have class for 2 weeks)
*We are getting ready for our adventure up north
*We of course are getting ready for Christmas
*We are getting ready for baseball to start in 5 weeks

We are anxiously waiting for next week so we can start our Christmas trip. We are hoping that the weather cooperates. We are also hoping that the snow will stick around for Maddie. She so wants to build a snowman, but knows she can't until we get to rah-rah's house because that is where all the snow is. It will be funny to see what she thinks of actual snow, not the plastic snowmen in the yards.

Here are a few pictures to tide you over until we get to Wisconsin. I'm sure that I'll have some more after this weekend and we have Christmas here.

Maddie amazed by the lights on the tree.

She really loves the winnie the pooh ornament, luckily we haven't had any broken ones yet.
Taking pictures at school by the big tree.

Nothing but sister love in this picture.

Just a fun one of the girls the other night.

No Football, What Do We Do?

That's right, this is the first Friday since August 24th that there hasn't been a football game. So what have we done? Well we watched Frosty and Frosty returns. The girls are now in bed and we are watching none other than Friday Night Lights.

It has been beautiful here this week. We have had the windows open all week and have been spending lots of time outside. Tomorrow it is suppose to be in the high 70's again, so I'm sure we will enjoy the weather.

We will be leaving in two weeks and I am looking forward to it. I am hoping that all the snow will still be there when we get there.

Have a great weekend. I know that this isn't a good post according to bumpa Heff because there are no pics of the girls. I will try to put some new pics of them up soon.

Disappointing Loses

The first disappointment was the Sader football team. They played as hard as they could, but couldn't come up with a victory. They also lost one of their top players on the first offensive play of the game. He also played both ways, so it was hard to recover from that. We were bummed that we missed it, but had a great time in Minnesota.

There was the second disappointment, the Lions. It was a hard game to watch for me, so I can only imagine what it was like for Chad. There weren't too many obnoxious people giving him grief. He took it in stride and even told Mike to just let him have it. Mike took the subtle approach at letting Chad have it.

Here is one of those obnoxious guys. He was sitting in front of us a couple of rows and there were more than a few times that all of us wanted to either tell him to shut up or hit him.

After the game we headed back to Mike's brother's house and just hung out some more. It was a short getaway, but well worth it. Chad had a great time at the game and I'm sure that he blog about it when he gets the chance. The girls did just great with great aunt Kathy (or Kappy as Maddie says). There were a few tears from Maddie when we got back, it was like then she realized that we left her. So a big thank you to Kathy and Dave and the rest of the Wilde's for watching the girls. We got home last night around 5. The girls liked being back at their own house.

Besides the game it was fun to just hang out with Jana and Mike. We got to see Jill and Jay while we were there and even managed a couple of hands of cards. We got in Saturday without any problems. It was snowing when we got there and only one runway was open, but it we made it safely. We stayed in for Saturday. Sunday we headed to the game, it was a little chilly walking from the car to the stadium, I realized that I need to make sure I have a scarf for Christmas.

Chad is doing a baseball clinic this weekend. I am thinking that maybe the girls and I will head to the zoo since it is suppose to be in the high 70's. We have a little over two weeks until we head home. We are getting ready for that. I am done with Christmas shopping and wrapping. We will be having Texas Christmas on the 15th, so that will be the beginning of all the celebrations for us.

Now that football is over, we will be moving onto basketball for just over a month before baseball starts. Christian is playing basketball this winter, so I'm sure we will be at some of his games.

Final Four Baby

We will start off with the title. The football team is in the semi-finals next week. They played last night at the Katy ISD stadium. Joel you would have loved it. It wasn't the Cy-Fair stadium (the one we went to a couple of years ago), but it was still pretty big . The played a team, Second Baptist, who is actually in their district. They lost to them in regular play, but won last night 28-16. The girls were once again supporting the Saders, so were Chad and I. This week we had new shirts and now I have to think of something for next week. We won't be able to be there since it is on Saturday and we will be in Minnesota, but I told Shelly that I would make one shirt and she just has to take it with her.

Emma once again fell asleep in the second half, Chad got to actually see the second half since he was holding her. Maddie and Isaac pretty much played the entire game. It was awesome football weather, like 45degrees. It was a great game to watch. I'm sad we are going to miss next week's game. It is going to be a hard one, but it would be great if they can pull it out.

Now on to Thanksgiving. Mom and dad got here on Monday afternoon. They got onto an earlier flight, so they got here around 3:30. Maddie had been asking for the last week when they were going to get here and so she sure was happy when they did. We didn't do too much while they were here. There was a lot of coloring and playing games. Chad and I did go out on Tuesday night with some friends and then dad and Chad went golfing on Wednesday(see Chad's blog). We managed to get to the outlet mall on Tuesday. Thursday we headed over to Wilke's for food and fun. We watched the Lions/Packers, Chad wasn't too happy about that game. We ate some really great food. We played some games. Chad and Christian played video games. Phill built a fire outside and we sat around and talked. Thanks to rah-rah and bumpa taking the girls home earlier in the evening, we got to hang out a bit longer.

I'm not one to brave the stores on Black Friday. I did have to go get a few groceries from Wal-Mart, but that wasn't until about 10am. It wasn't that crowded. After the girls went down for their nap, I did venture out to Kohl's and Target. Kohl's was insane. I stood in line longer than I shopped, but they extended their early bird specials until 2:30, so I still got them. Target was not bad at all. I found a few good deals and only waited in line for a couple minutes. We then headed out for some pizza before the game and went out to Katy.

It is pouring right now and it is pretty much suppose to rain all day long. I think we are going to get our Christmas decorations out and put those up. We will see how the girls do with the tree.

Here are some pics from Thanksgiving and the game yesterday.

Maddie posing on the stairs.

Mike and Emma playing computer games.

Emma just hanging with Diego.

Phill built a fire outside and we had some pretty good laughs out there.

Chad and Christian keeping warm and playing video games.

This is Rhodes Stadium, this was before the game started.
Chad and Emma keeping each other warm.

Isaac and Maddie always have a good time no matter what the weather.

Myself, Emma, Phill, Maddie and Chad after the game. You would think they lost by the look on Phill's face, but he always has to have his football face on.

Finally A Moment

Well it is 10:30pm here in our house. It is raining outside and the girls have been asleep for almost 2 hours. I'm finally sitting down to write my post I promised. This past week has gone by in a blink of an eye. Last weekend there wasn't much to report. It was a pretty normal weekend for us. We went to the football game and had a good time. The Saders pulled out the 56-0 victory. As usual Wilke's and Karner came over for a couple of beers. After the game we were waiting on a score of another game before we would know what the playoffs would be for us, so after some calling and tracking people down, we got the score and were able to get some playoff stuff figured out. Saturday was a normal errand running day. I got grocery shopping done in record time (that's what happens when you don't have any kids with you). We even managed to drag Christian out of bed for some lunch with us. Of course, he has just gotten up, so he ate breakfast. Phill, Steve, and Chad went to a poker night with Phill's brother. They had a good time, but only Phill's brother Paul, went home a winner. While the guys were gone, Shelly and Christian came over and we played Blockus. It was a really fun game. Sunday was the same old same old. I did go to a jewelry party, but didn't buy anything.

This week we have been getting ready for our company. I had MOPS on Monday and the rest of the week was pretty quiet until we headed to San Antonio for the football game. They ended up only having a half day of school on Friday because of the game, so that was nice. We left by 1 and got to Greg and Jamie's by a little after 4. We got to eat dinner with Greg, Jamie, Naomi, and Jordan who came down from Austin. It was a quick visit with the Truwe's since we were on our way to the game and Greg had a softball game also. The game was a lot of fun. Maddie of course had a blast because Isaac was there too. Both girls showed their Sader support along with their love of the Wilke boys (see pics above). Emma even managed to fall asleep for the whole 3rd quarter and about 1/2 of the 4th quarter. It was a very exciting game. The Saders ended up pulling out the win by 10. With 5 minutes left we were down by 2 and I thought we were done, so did Christa, but they pulled it off and got a big win. Maddie took a nice big goose-egg on her head home. She sort of bounced off Chad's foot and onto the cement. It has gone down a lot already, but I'm pretty sure that she will have a nice bruise.

Today (Saturday) Chad had to help with the senior float in the Tomball Holiday Parade. I got my normal grocery shopping done and the girls and Chad got a nap in. Tomorrow the senior baseball players are coming over for Chad to meet with them. Then rah-rah and bumpa will be here on Monday. They are scheduled for 9:30pm, but might get on an earlier flight. We will see. Maddie knows that she has two days until "rah-rah Maddie's house". That is what she goes around saying. Chad has school Monday and Tuesday and then the rest of the week off. Football will be playing either Friday or Saturday. They are actually playing the team that they had their only lost to in District.

I'm sure we will have some more pictures from this week, so when we get some more I'll make sure to put them up. I am already working on the girls t-shirts for this week's football game. After this week, I'm sure the next few weeks will fly by and Christmas will be here before I know it. Good thing I am pretty much done with my shopping.

Happy Thanksgiving if I don't post before Thursday!!

A short post

We are heading to San Antonio this afternoon for the football team's first round of playoffs and so tomorrow I promise that I will have more information to share and pictures too. The girls will be supporting both the team and the Wilke boys, so I will post when we return from San Antonio.

Fall for a day, maybe two

That is right, fall has happened. It may only be here for two days, but we sure have been enjoying it. Yesterday it only got to about 68 and it is suppose to be the same today. The girls enjoyed playing outside and not sweating. It also helps to have long pants on to slide down the slide faster.

I know that I have become a little bit wimpier since moving here and colder weather (60's) make some people dress their children outrageously. I will say that the girls had on pants and long sleeve shirts. They were wearing just regular t-shirts. I was in long pants and a short sleeved t-shirt. While we were walking to the playground we passed another mom walking with her son. He was probably somewhere between 5-7 months old. He was in a full winter coat with a hat that had ear flaps. The mom also was wearing a knit cap. I know that it was a little cooler than it has been, but it was a little ridiculous. As we passed I said hello, but then I had to laugh to myself a little.

Other than the playground and having to actually rake the leaves, there hasn't been too much going on. After halloween last week, we took it easy. Friday was an away football game, so we waited to hear from Shelly for the score. They lost, so now this Friday will determine what place they get. The problem is that it isn't their game, they are waiting for the result of two other teams. Saturday we spent up at school doing the concessions for a baseball tournament. A club was using the field. There were also volleyball regionals going on in the gym. Chad was announcing for that and then coming back outside to work the concession stand. After volleyball was over we headed over to the Keiper's for some pizza. The kids played for a little while and it helped to be up a little bit later for Emma adjusting to day light savings time. Maddie never had any problems, but Emma sure does. Sunday was football and the playground. After nap we went to the big playground and the girls just had a blast.

I guess our day to day lives aren't as boring as I sometimes think. This week we had a meeting on Monday for baseball. We had to postpone the whiffleball tournament this weekend and so we were coming up with other fundraising ideas. Tuesday we went to dinner with the Keiper's and Odinga's. It was a lot of fun. Once again the kids had a blast. Yesterday we were actually at home. I did have to run to Wal-mart, but we were actually home for the evening. This weekend there is football on Friday, we are going to a wedding in Austin on Saturday and then hopefully Sunday will be football and the usual.

We have a little more than a week until visitors and then I have a feeling that the time is just going to fly before Christmas.

Sorry Bumpa H I don't have any pictures. I know that it isn't a good post now. I have some on the camera that I need to put on the computer.

And the Winner Is....

.....Number 1 the Bratwurst. That is right Maddie was a racing sausage for Halloween. Grandma Heff has always talked about making all the kids racing sausage costumes, but since the six of them are never together, I decided that I would try to make Maddie one. It took a few errors, but I finally got it right. Even last night we had to tweak it a little bit. We borrowed a baseball hat from Gabe and that made it easier for Maddie to see. Emma was a duck that has been worn now for the last three years by someone, first it was Ben, then Maddie last year and now Emma yesterday. So yesterday afternoon we headed over the Sommermeyer's for some dinner and trick or treating. We were half way there and I remembered that I forgot the dessert in the fridge, so it was a quick stop at Wal-Mart to pick up a replacement. We made our own pizzas and watched Finding Nemo while waiting to go. There were 5 families and a total of 8 kids there. We had a pea pod, superman, a leopard, a princess, a witch, a pirate, a duck, and a racing sausage.

Some of the kids are hidden, but they are all there. We headed out and they all were just having a grand ole time. As you know any good racing sausage can't go anywhere without their BrewCrew Team escort, so Chad even wore the Brewers jersey and was Maddie's escort.
Emma was a little unsure at first and just wanted to ride in the wagon, we got her to go to a few houses and after about 4 she caught on and was off. She loved to carry her pumpkin pail up to the doors and just hold it out. She kept looking in the bucket and would have to touch everything that was put in.
I was very impressed that Maddie kept the sausage costume on for so long. It was probably a good 45minutes to an hour. She did need to keep getting her hat adjusted and even needed some rests every now and then. She was a trooper and was having a great time.

We were going strong and Maddie finally just had enough. She wanted out of the sausage, but we did have a back up. So she got changed and hit a few more houses before she was completely done. Emma finally gave up and resorted to being pulled in the wagon, but not before she figured out how to get a sucker open and eat it.So it was back to the house to gather our things and head home. Much to our amazement our kids were the only ones who weren't throwing fits. I think they were so tired that they didn't care at that point. We did have two quick stops to make. We headed over to Odinga's, who just live a subdivision over and showed Kim Maddie's costume. Maddie played with the dogs for a little while, but we still wanted to get over to Wilke's for a quick stop. We loaded them in the car. Emma was already in her pj's and we made it about 2 miles before she was sleeping with a piece of candy still in her hand.
I think over all we had a pretty fun night. I know Maddie did as she is still sleeping at 9:30. We are heading to the boys football game tonight and then I think we will be taking it easy the rest of the weekend.

Hope you enjoyed our Halloween in pictures.

Happy Anniversary to Rah-rah and Bumpa H. We can't wait to see you in about 2 weeks.

A Weekend Getaway

This past weekend the four of us took a short drive over to San Antonio to visit with the Truwe's. They moved down here in July and so we thought that it was about time we paid them a visit. We left Friday after school and made pretty good time. We stopped about half way for dinner and then were back on the road. When we got there Naomi was in bed, but not sleeping so she decided to get up and play for a little while. We finally got all the girls to sleep and the adults talked for a little while.

Saturday morning we slept in and then headed to the park. There was everything at this park, even a really big metal slide that Maddie went down once, but even she thought it was too fast. In the afternoon everyone got their naps in. We ate a wonderful dinner and after dinner Jamie and I left the boys to attend to bedtime. Jamie had gotten tickets to a synchronized swimming show that a member of their church was in. It was pretty impressive. It was a little hard to see because you were at the same level as the pool, so you couldn't see the formations. I had a good time. When we got home the girls were in bed and the guys were watching baseball.

Sunday morning we headed to church to hear Greg preach and then it was lunch and we were off. We made very good time on the way home. Only making one stop, just for something to drink. We headed over to the Wilke's to hang out and for pizza. Maddie liked taking Sam for a walk in the backyard and Emma liked it when Sam gave her kisses. We finally headed home and the girls were ready for bed.

This week we have been to the playground and are looking forward to going over to Sommermeyer's for trick or treating tonight. I will make sure to put some pictures up as soon as I can. It has been cool (75-no humidity) and so we have enjoyed having the windows open and the breeze coming through.

We have things going on for the next few weekends, so that will make the time go quick. Rah-rah and Bumpa Heff will be here in less than three weeks. Maddie is already looking forward to that visit. We will be heading up to Minnesota the first weekend in December for the Vikings/Lions game (while the girls stay in Dallas with Great Aunt Kathy), then we will have just a few weeks and we will be heading home for Christmas. It will come quick, but I am already getting ready for that.

Happy Reformation Day and have a little candy for Halloween.

Pumpkin Farm

Well Ra-ra has been here and gone. It was a fun weekend all around and I'm glad that grandma could come and visit. Friday she got in about 4 hours earlier than we thought she was going to. She was able to get on a earlier flight and so we headed up to school for the football game. We all watched about half of it and she took the girls home. I think that is the most football I watched all season.

Saturday was the pumpkin farm in the morning. We took some pictures, rode the hayride, picked out a couple pumpkins, headed out for some lunch and then home for naps. Chad and I started to get ready for the dinner auction and then headed up to hang out with friends early. Grandma and the girls were armed with pizza and some games.

We had a really great time at the auction, probably stayed out too late than we should have, but it was worth the fun.

Sunday we did manage to get to late church and then back home for a nap. Maddie, Grandma and I headed out for some groceries and then we all went out to dinner. After we got home we carved our pumpkins. I tried to make a Brewers logo that I got off the Brewers website, but I messed it up and just ended up with a old fashioned jack-o-lantern. Chad is still hoping to make his a Detroit Tigers pumpkin. Today was cold, like 55 degrees cold. It was rainy too. We did a little shopping with grandma, ate lunch, and then off to the airport. Both the girls fell asleep on the way there. When Maddie woke up, she did ask where ra-ra was. I told her she had to go back to bumpa's house. Maddie said okay and went back to sleep.

It was a quick weekend, but her and bumpa will be back for Thanksgiving. So we can't wait to see them in just about 4 weeks.

It finally feels like fall here and I couldn't be happier. We are heading over to San Antonio this weekend to hang out with the Truwe's.

Here are a few pictures from the auction.

The Zoo, Football, and a Flood

Well we have had quite the weekend again. We thought that this weekend was going to be slow, boy were we wrong. Saturday morning we headed down to the zoo and had a great time. Maddie loves looking for all the animals and when she sees them she announces "there they are". The animals were actually out since it wasn't so hot. The last time we were there, they were all hiding because of the heat. We checked out all the animals, ate some lunch, played in the Children's zoo, rode the carousel, had some ice cream and headed home. We got to the zoo a little after 10 and were leaving at about 2. Neither of the girls made it to the stoplight to get out of the zoo parking lot before they were sleeping. I think that meant they had a good time.

Sunday was a lazy day. We went to church, Sunday school, played on the playground while waiting for Phill, Shelly, Mike, and Christian, and then when to lunch with them. Maddie was tired enough to fall asleep on Chad at the table. After we got home, not too much else happened. Maddie even wanted to change back into her pajamas, so we let her. She has also been having to wear socks because she likes to chew on her toes and sometimes she makes them bleed. She is so weird. She keeps the socks on, so that is a good thing.

Monday was the start to another week. We went to the playground in the morning and Maddie just wanted to swing the whole time. She didn't want to go down the slide or anything, just swing. It was a good thing we went in the morning, because at about 2:45 it started raining, actually pouring, it didn't stop until after 6pm. I called Chad about 4:15 and told him to come home now if he wanted to get home. Our street was flooded, the water ended up coming all the way up to the tree in our front yard, which is probably about 2 feet from the sidewalk. Chad didn't realize how bad it was and was glad that I called him. About 5 minutes after he got home a car pulled into our driveway and I thought it was Steve, but it was someone who didn't want to float down the street. Chad went out to the car to make sure she was alright. We invited her in to wait it out. She is a Early Childhood Special Ed. teacher at the elementary school here in our subdivision, she is a first year teacher with a brand new car, so she was a little shaken up. When she left, we made sure to give her our number in case she got stuck, and she even offered hers in case we ever needed a babysitter. I think she was just thankful that we weren't weirdos.

Today I thought we were going to get some more rain, but the sun finally decided to come out at about 2pm. The girls are getting excited for grandma to come. That is all they talk about; ra-ra this and ra-ra that.

The rest of the week is just getting things done. I have been so honored to be on the fundraising committee for Chad's spring trip and so I have some things to do for that. We have another meeting tomorrow, but I hope to get all the bulletin announcements done before that. We are having a whiffle ball tournament on November 10th, so if anyone would like to come down and play, you are more than welcome to.

Hope everyone is enjoying the fall weather, how about you throw some our way.

Homecoming, Here and Gone

Well this weekend was filled to the brim with activities and now it is finally Tuesday morning and I feel like I can slow down. Football on Friday was a lot of fun. Maddie and Emma got to play with Isaac and Faith. We also went to the pep rally at school on Friday afternoon. They had a senior vs. faculty dodgeball game. It was fun to watch and Maddie wanted to join in. The football team won pretty handedly. I think it was something like 30-6. They were playing Lutheran South, which is down by NASA. One of their coaches is Jason Bangert who went to Martin Luther. This is his first call.

After the game Wilke's and Steve came over for a little while. Maddie was up late, because she wanted to wait for dad and uncle Phill to get here. So it was nice that they both decided to sleep late on Saturday morning. I did some grocery shopping and a couple other errands on Saturday. We went and ate dinner with Wilke's minus Michael. We just went to Red Robin, but had a good time. Chad had to chaperone the dance, so he got to spend his evening with his students. He went out with some of the other teachers afterwards and almost got into a bar fight. You will have to ask him about it sometime.

Sunday we headed to church, Sunday school, and once again to eat with the Wilke's. (Do you see a trend here?- we spend a lot of time with them) It was home for naps for the girls and then off to Faith's first birthday party. Maddie loves to play with Isaac. Every week after Sunday school, we walk to the nursery together to get their siblings. Well they go to late church and we go to our car, every Sunday Maddie cries because she has to leave Isaac. She did it at the football game too, because they left after the third quarter. I think she might be a little obsessed with Isaac. So all day he kept saying Isaac's house. So when we finally got there she was in heaven. She had a short crying spell when we were getting ready to leave, but got over it pretty quickly.

After the party, once again Wilke's and Steve came over for the Packers/Bears game. Well earlier in the day Chad had dropped the remote into a cup of water, so we were having issues with the remote. We finally had to call and they are sending us a new remote. For now we have an antenna attached in the living room and cable in our room. Of course we were all giving Chad a hard time all evening. Good thing Sunday Night Football is on NBC.

Yesterday it was nice to have Chad home in the morning for a bit. He left in the later morning for the golf outing. So the girls and I ran to Wal-Mart for diapers and then home to play. I had a MOPS meeting last night and had to call Shelly to come over for about a half hour because Chad, Phill, and Michael were running late.

So here we are on Tuesday morning, finally ready to start the week. Chad has a half day on Friday, so that will be nice. Tomorrow he is going to A&M for their fall ball game. Thursday Christian has a home football game and there is also a home volleyball game. At least on Friday football is away, so we can just hang out at home.

A week from Friday Grandma Heff is coming. Maddie keeps saying "raPublish Post-ra Maddie's house". Which means that ra-ra is coming to Maddie's house. So I think that Maddie getting excited to see grandma.

Here are just a few pictures from Friday night. Emma finishing off Kim's Starbucks
